John Daw
Chief Executive Officer
John Daw has been part of PsiPay management team since 2008. John is qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte, and has more than 20 years of experience within the Financial Services industry.
Prior to joining the Company, John served as a Finance Director with the venture capital group Schroder Ventures (Permira) and subsequently left the group to set up his own payment processing organisation, founding the first European company to use the world ATM network for international money transfer. More recently, John created the Hertfordshire group of companies with interests in asset finance, telemarketing, and IT. At present, John Daw is responsible for both the financial management of PsiPay and all matters relating to FSA regulations and MasterCard.
Dennis Staines
Chief Technology Officer
Dennis Staines has more than 30 years of experience in Information Technology. Dennis started his career in IT with Wang and Data General and then he has been working for a number of specialist payment companies including Clear Commerce, ProcCyber (DataCash), IvoBank, and Neteller, where he was the CTO of Neteller UK.
Dennis Staines has an expert knowledge of solution design, transaction processing and credit card fraud, and therefore he is ideally placed to propel the PsiPay platform to the forefront of the global payments industry.
PHIL DAVIES
Director
Phil was retained as an advisor to PSI Pay in September 2010 and was, subsequently, appointed to the board in July 2011. As an acknowledged payments industry expert Phil set up his own specialist advisory service, Resource Associates Ltd, upon leaving MasterCard in May 2010. Phil has set up alliances with other specialists and forged excellent relationships with legislative/ regulatory bodies and payment schemes in order to provide ‘best of breed’ solutions and services. In addition to PSI Pay Ltd Phil is also on the boards of The Card Group Ltd, and P&P Ratings Ltd; he is also retained by VRL Financial News as a contributor and technical author.
Prior to this Phil spent eight years as VP & Business Development Director of MasterCard Europe where, amongst his other achievements, he was instrumental in the introduction of prepaid to Europe. In doing so Phil has forged relationships with the major banking players, third party service providers and governmental regulatory bodies and lobbyists.
Phil has had a successful, and diverse, career encompassing retail banking where he was Senior Manager and Group Head of Lloyds TSB’s B2B consumer finance division. Prior to that Phil held positions within Xerox corporation culminating in Regional Manager - Middle East where he spent several years developing the acceptance of the Xerox brand.
